Casagrand Founder Arun MN Honoured with Hurun India's Self-Made Real Estate Entrepreneur Award
Arun Mn, Founder and Managing Director of Casagrand, received the Self-Made Real Estate Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the India Real Estate Leadership Conclave & Excellence Awards 2026. The event, hosted by Hurun India in association with Grohe, was held in Mumbai and brought together leading real estate entrepreneurs, developers and industry leaders.
The recognition acknowledges his entrepreneurial journey, which began with a 12-apartment residential project in Chennai in 2003 and has since expanded into a multi-market real estate business. Casagrand now has more than 180 projects spanning over 88 million sq. ft, with developments across Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Pune and Dubai.
From Startup to Multi-Market Developer
Casagrand Premier Builder Limited was established in Chennai in 2003 by Arun MN, a first-generation entrepreneur who had previously worked with Wipro before seeing an opportunity to bring structured, process-driven methods into South India's residential market. The company launched its first project, Casagrand Srishti, in Thiruvanmiyur in 2004, and delivered its first completed community, Casagrand Rivera, in 2006.
Over the following two decades the business scaled to over Rs 2,000 crore in annual revenue, building a workforce that today numbers in the thousands across its project sites and corporate offices.
Product Range and Focus Areas
Casagrand's portfolio includes apartments, villas, high-rise residences, floor villas and large-format residential communities. The award also recognises his stated focus on mid-segment housing, homebuyer affordability and delivering value.
Casagrand's operating philosophy has always centred on positioning homes in corridors where transport, employment, and social infrastructure are already forming rather than fully formed — micro-markets such as OMR, Mogappair, Sholinganallur, Pallikaranai, Kattupakkam, and Hennur in Bengaluru.
Recognition and Platform
The recognition comes as Hurun India and GROHE mark a decade of recognising leadership and achievement in Indian real estate, with the 2026 edition also marking the return of the flagship pan-India conclave. The event marked the platform's 10th edition and featured a fireside chat with Arun Mn on the company's growth, strategies, people and culture.
For Arun Mn, the recognition comes at an important juncture as Casagrand builds on its strong South Indian foundation and pursues its ambition of creating a stronger national real estate presence.
